Dong Pho Moi dry port is located in Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park, Pho Moi ward, Lao Cai city; has an area of ​​50,000m2; the investor is VIMC Logistics Joint Stock Company.

The Ministry of Transport has just issued Decision No. 1549/QD-BGTVT announcing the opening of Dong Pho Moi dry port in Lao Cai province.

Dong Pho Moi Dry Port is located at Lot F9, F10 and part of Lot F11 of Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park, Pho Moi Ward, Lao Cai City (Lao Cai Province); has an area of ​​50,000m2; the investor is VIMC Logistics Joint Stock Company.

The objective of opening Dong Pho Moi dry port is to exploit, provide services and carry out import and export procedures for goods at the dry port in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 38/2017/ND-CP dated April 4, 2017 of the Government and the investment certificate and business registration certificate issued by the competent authority.

The decision clearly states that the investor, VIMC Logistics Joint Stock Company, shall perform the responsibilities and powers of a dry port operator as prescribed in Decree No. 38/2017/ND-CP dated April 4, 2017 of the Government and relevant legal provisions; organize the operation of dry ports when all procedures have been completed as prescribed and for the right purpose, in accordance with the investment stages, ensuring safety, security, fire and explosion prevention, and environmental pollution prevention.

The investor is responsible for exploiting and maintaining the works and items in accordance with the announced plan and current regulations; all cases of renovation, expansion, or change in the nature of use of the works must be reported to the competent authority in accordance with regulations.

The Ministry of Transport also assigned the Vietnam Maritime Administration to be responsible for organizing the inspection and supervision of dry port operations in accordance with Decree No. 38/2017/ND-CP dated April 4, 2017 of the Government and relevant legal provisions./.
