According to data from the Da Nang Statistics Sub-Department, it is estimated that in May 2025, Da Nang's total two-way export and import turnover will reach 317 million USD, up 1.1% over the previous month and up 14.7% over the same period in 2024. In which, exports were estimated at 190 million USD, up 1.7% over the previous month and up 20.4% over the same month last year; imports were estimated at 127 million USD, up 0.2% over the previous month and up 7.1% over the same period last year.
Generally, in the first 5 months of 2025, the total export and import turnover of goods is estimated at 1,447 million USD, up 10.1% over the same period in 2024; in which, exports of goods were estimated at 843 million USD, up 10.9%; imports of goods were estimated at 604 million USD, up 8.9%. The trade balance continued to maintain a trade surplus of 238 million USD.

Despite achieving positive results, the city's export activities still face many barriers such as small business size, limited competitiveness, weak access to international markets and most of the export products are still in the form of processing. do not have their own brand.
